My hospital recommended your labour TENS at the birth classes. I used the TENS machine from when my contractions were 15 mins apart. I found the contractions didn’t feel as bad as the TENS took the edge off. The contractions didn’t feel so long and I felt in control. During the delivery I only required a bit of gas and air, but I found the TENS best for relieving the majority of the pain. I ended up with a natural uncomplicated birth thanks to the TENS. I would highly recommend it and definitely use it again next time.
