The TENS Machine worked fantastically for me.  I used it at home during the latent phase of my labour, including throughout the night in bed, until my contractions were 3-5 minutes apart.

At the hospital I continued to use the machine as my sole pain relief measure until I was almost fully dilated.

I found that the rhythm of the pulses really worked for me and am overjoyed with the arrival of our new son.  I would highly recommend hiring a Labour TENS machine to my friends.
