I just wanted to say how WONDERFUL I found the TENS machine during my labour.  As this was my second child I was concerned that the labour would be quicker and harder than the first time and that I would need more than just gas to get through it.  It turns out that I was right about it being quicker…. contractions only went for about 4 hours… but thanks to this machine it certainly wasn’t harder!!  In fact I arrived at the hospital fully dilated and I didnt even feel that I was in “proper” hard labour!! It really was amazing and I will be recommending a TENS machine to any friends in future.
