This was my second pregnancy. I used the Labour TENS machine first time in my first labour and felt it very helpful. This time I put my TENS machine on when the contractions started to “bite” and were becoming regular. I started my TENS around 2pm. My beautiful daughter was born at 5.40pm, only 3 hours 40 minutes after. She was born in a birthing pool (water birth), so obviously I had removed the TENS at the last minute before entering the water.  I entered the water about 30 minutes before giving birth.

No other pain relief was used. Again the Labour TENS machine was fabulous and I couldn’t have got through my labour without it.
