Thanks for the great website, which provides a wealth of information and gave me the confidence to proceed… fully informed of the product.

I had a long pre-labour, which started on a Sunday afternoon, with lower back pain and then contractions that varied on average every 5-15 mins throughout the night. This is when I started to use the Labour TENS, and I realised how helpful it was in providing relief.

Monday morning I spent outside walking, riding the quad bike & feeding horses etc., but soon after lunch spent the rest of the day resting with the Labour TENS as the contractions were getting more intense.

At around 4pm I rang the hospital (which was 50 mins drive away) to discuss my contractions etc….. they asked me how far apart contractions were (they were 4-6 mins)…….they told me to wait a little longer.  We left home at 8.30pm & arrived at the hospital at 9.30pm. When they checked me the nurses were surprised I was already 6cm dilated……….. Needless to say, I did most of the work at home (& in the car) with the Labour TENS!!!

I had gas throughout the rest of the labour, but I am adamant the Labour TENS provided the most assistance from start to finish. We had our baby boy at 12.52am Tuesday morning.

I am recommending Labour TENS to my friend (who is due in a couple of months with her first child). I believe the TENS machine averted me having an epidural as it provided me with so much relief. I was able to have a wonderful natural birth.  Thank you.

Cheers, Trudy
