labour TENS was recommended by a work colleague, and also the Frances Perry House in VIC. I was one of those lucky first time mum’s having a natural birth in 2.5hours with no use of drugs, no other pain relief and no intervention.

When i woke up in the morning the contractions started, so I strapped on the electrodes and used the TENS machine straight away. It was very easy to use and understand. By early afternoon the contractions became unpleasant so we went to the hospital. I was 8cm dilated and not long afterwards, Charlotte was born. All through this experience the TENS machine occupied me and i didn’t feel the need at any time to use drugs.
