For the early stages of labour I found the TENS machine useful in distracting me from the pain I was experiencing, and creating a useful diversion. It was comforting to know I could rely on a pain relief method that did not involve the use of pharmaceuticals for the early stage of labour. Many thanks.
I also really appreciated the speedy delivery, as I went into labour hours after the TENS machine arrived at my doorstep. Thanks!

Labour TENS was brilliant and got me through half of my labour, which was slowed by erratic contractions. The baby was posterior and I was experiencing a mix of short and long contractions, which meant I wasn’t dilating very much. I would highly recommend Labour TENS to anyone having a baby.

This was my first labour experience and I am so glad I used a TENS machine. It worked incredibly well from early on in my labour….. by the later stages I’m not sure if it was really providing “pain relief” as such, but perhaps more a “distraction” to focus on through each contraction. I was so happy to get through my labour (approx. 12 hours) with no other forms of pain relief. It made me feel very satisfied and empowered afterwards….. which I think then set me off with the right frame of mind for the next part of the adventure….. looking after this tiny perfect human!
Thanks for helping to make this experience a happy and memorable one!

My labour went for 31 hours, and I found the Labour TENS machine so helpful in pain relief and distraction for well over a day!
I am so please I decided to use the Labour TENS.

I delivered my first baby weighing 10lb 1oz using only the Labour TENS and gas, TENS being my main form of pain relief. My birth partner was able to control the levels based on the intensity of my pain, maintaining the TENS’ effectiveness.
I loved it and will recommend it to other Mums to be. It should be standard pain relief offered to patients in every birth as an alternative to the usual drugs.

The midwives at the hospital recommended the Labour TENS machine for natural pain relief during childbirth. I was able to get through 12 hours of strong contractions using only the TENS machine. My advice to future Mums is USE Labour TENS! It works beautifully, just ensure you start using it as soon as the initial contractions kick in.
We are planning for a second child late next year and first thing in my hospital bag checklist will be a Labour TENS machine. Thank You!

I used a Labour TENS machine for my first delivery and found, combined with hypno-birth techniques, I could really manage the labour pain myself. This time around, it was even more manageable and I could really feel the TENS sensation “drowning out” some of the labour pain!
