All three of my babies were posterior, and long painful births, but with the Labour TENS machine I managed without any drugs or intervention

Published by under Birth stories

This was my third labour –the first in Australia. I was disappointed that the antenatal system didn’t have a Labour TENS unit available as they are in Europe. Your company was a wonderful find, exceptionally easy to order online, excellent and prompt delivery. All three babies were posterior, and long painful births, but with the Labour TENS machine I managed without any drugs or intervention. Every birth, and woman is different, but this is a form of pain relief that no-one can loose by trying as its free of any side effects or risks to baby. We thank you for providing this service and helping us to achieve such a happy ending to our pregnancy.

The labour TENS was the most helpful of all the pain relief options, from the beginning of the contractions to the end –it made such a difference

I had an epidural for the last half hour of my 12.5 hour labour. When they removed the TENS I really appreciated how good it had been! The labour TENS was the most helpful of all the pain relief options, from the beginning of the contractions to the end –it made such a difference. So glad i hired it. Thanks again.

It helped me focus on my breathing more effectively, and I was thrilled to avoid an epidural.

I found the Labour TENS helped me have some control over my contractions and enabled me to focus on my breathing more effectively. I had a relatively quick labour (5 hours) for a first timer and despite the intensity, I was thrilled to avoid an epidural. I would definitely recommend the Labour TENS to anyone.

Little did I know that i would be able to manage the pain well into the birth.

The Labour TENS was great for pain relief throughout the labour. With the help of the TENS machine I was able to stay at home longer. This is my first baby so there were a lot of unknowns. Little did I know that i would be able to manage the pain well into the birth.

I am certain that if it were not for the Labour TENS I wouldn’t have survived a natural delivery!

I hired your TENS machine on the recommendation and advice of my midwife and my Chiropractor. I chose a home birth, but was worried about pain management as I have a back injury. labour TENS was the ideal choice, and I used it for the 19.5 hours of labour when not in the birthing pool. I am certain that if it were not for the Labour TENS I wouldn’t have survived a natural delivery! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

I found the TENS machine was very helpful in combination with the gas

I heard about your labour TENS through the birthing classes at the hospital. I found the TENS machine was very helpful in combination with the gas. It helped take the edge off the pain, and helped me to avoid the strong drugs like pethadine. I was able to have a natural delivery without complications –thanks.

My gynaecologist and midwife said it was one of the most calm births they had ever been at.

The Labour TENS was recommended to me by my Obstetrician. This TENS machine was excellent in controlling my painful contractions. It also helped me focus on something else, I felt a real comfort having it on. It reassured me that my pain was under control which was a relief because I normally suffer from panic and anxiety. Thanks for providing tis wonderful drug free product –it made me feel great to know it wasn’t affecting my baby. I delivered a healthy baby boy. Both the gynaecologist and the midwife said it was one of the most calm births they had ever been at.
