WOW!! I used the Labour TENS machine as a “back up” option thinking it might come in handy in early labour (not having done this before!)

I was delighted (and frankly amazed) that my ONLY pain relief started and ended with the Labour TENS. This was over a period of 7 hours, starting at midnight in Stage 1, (set at about 6 on the dial), and ending at 7.20am (with 40 as the maximum I used on the dial).  I slipped it on again (at 20) for minor stitches (which were also given with a local anaesthetic), as the TENS had given me so much confidence and was a bit of a comforter by that time.

In addition to using the Labour TENS I moved about, sat on a fit ball, refused to lie on my back, and “vocalised”

I am totally blown away by this little machine and would completely recommend it to anyone.

I feel that the lack of drugs administered really “made” my experience, and enabled my mind and body to get the job done and then recover very quickly post partum.

My labour started at 8am.  My husband connected the Labour TENS straight away as my contractions were only 10 minutes apart. 

We had a 2 hour car trip to the hospital and the TENS machine made it a breeze!  When we reached the hospital, my contractions were 3 minutes apart.  By using hypno birthing techniques and the Labour TENS I gave birth to a gorgeous healthy baby boy at 3.37pm.

Thank you for making it possible to have a natural birth.  I did not want to use drugs of any kind and the Labour TENS allowed me to fulfil my wish.  I highly recommend Labour TENS to everyone.

I found the Labour TENS to be extremely helpful during my labour. Lachlan is my first baby and I managed the labour from start to finish in only 5 hours. Although the TENS does not remove the pain, it provides an excellent distraction, if you view it in the right way.  My husband and I practised using the TENS machine before the labour , as recommended.

Excellent product!! I wish I has used it for my first birth. My only pain relief this time was the Labour TENS and some gas. My baby was a boy, 8lb 12.5oz with a 6.5 hour labour.

I really liked the ease of returning the TENS when finished with it, and the online reminder to do so.

Excellent for 1st and 2nd stage of labour, and relief of lower back pain.

Highly recommend.

I found the Labour TENS to be useful!!

I was induced due to pre-eclampsia, so knew I was in for a more intense labour experience. My labour was around 14 hours and TENS was extremely effective. It was used until the last 2 hours, when the induction was intensified to speed up my delivery.  I think in a “normal” or non induced labour TENS would have totally eliminated my need for an epidural, which I had for the last hour before my baby was born.

I would highly recommend Labour TENS.

Thank you so much for the use of the Labour TENS machine. I would highly recommend it for use during labour pains. I only wish it was waterproof for use in the shower/bath!!

My labour was very quick, 6.5 hours, despite being a first time Mum.  I started using the Labour TENS machine at home 2 hours after the onset of my contractions.  I started the pulses at 10mA and gradually increased the levels as my contractions became stronger.  During the pushing stage I set the TENS machine at full strength with no additional pain relief.

I remember my pain levels during labour being bearable thanks to the TENS machine and a tennis ball that I was squeezing the life out of!

I would recommend the TENS machine to all women giving birth.. Who knows, it could be all the pain relief you need!

Throughout both of my pregnancies I had bad back pain which continued into labour. With my first baby this made it impossible to move from the bed, relying on heat packs and later pethidine to combat the pain.  He was  eventually born with the aid of forceps and an episiotomy.

Using the Labour TENS with my second baby relieved much of the back pain and I was free to move around which made for a much faster labour.  He was born drug free and without any intervention.
