My labour was induced and ,as a midwife, I knew that this was going to cause sudden, strong contractions. I was convinced I couldn’t get through an induced labour without an Epidural.  While the labour was certainly challenging and intense, I managed to get through it all using the Labour TENS machine and one dose of pethidine.

I am incredibly proud of my body and am sure that without the TENS machine, I probably would have ended up with an Epidural, and potentially, all the interventions that can accompany it.

Cannot recommend Labour TENS highly enough!

The Labour TENS is amazing and everything about it …. from the ordering process, the delivery of the kit, the usage, and the return…. is straightforward and simple.

I had heard about the benefits of a TENS machine relatively late in my pregnancy and did a quick internet search and found Labour TENS. Compared to other TENS machine rental sites, Labour TENS seemed the easiest with the return delivery satchel included for easy and quick return.

The Labour TENS kit arrived within a few days of ordering, in time for my 37th week of pregnancy. I went into labour in my 38th week and the Labour TENS was invaluable.  I applied the electrode pads when I felt the contractions and gradually increased the settings as I needed to. The arm band allowed me to keep in control of the settings and I used the boost button when I felt contractions coming.  The Labour TENS kit was on me from the onset of my labour until my daughter was born, which was 6 hours later.

I used the Labour TENS at home, in the car on the way to the hospital, and in the delivery suite.  I was already 8cm dilated by the time I reached the hospital, which I would have probably not been able to do without the Labour TENS. I did not need any pethidine or epidural, and found the Labour TENS sufficient.

Thank you for a great product and such a hassle-free rental and return process.  I will certainly be recommending to my friends and look forward to using Labour TENS again for any next babies!

I used your Labour TENS for both my labours.  I went in the bath first…. and when pain level increased I gout out and used the Labour TENS both times. The pain relief allowed me to stay at home as long as possible. Very pleased.

I went into labour on Tuesday morning after realising that I had in fact really begun my labour on Monday!

My contractions were 3 mins apart lasting 30sec – 1 min from 10am Tuesday. I began using the LabourTENS machine that afternoon at home. It was easy to use and definitely helped with the pain. We got to the hospital at 6pm.

I used the bath in between the TENS. At 2.30am I had to be monitored due to complications. I relied only on the LabourTENS machine for pain relief. My contractions were now every 2 mins lasting 1 min. We had to have an assisted birth with vacuum.  I was advised to have an epidural, however I was insistent I could manage without it .  The LabourTENS machine definitely made that possible. Our beautiful son was born at 8.08am on Wednesday!

This was our 4th baby and the 4th time I had used a TENS machine with no other pain relief required.

This make & model of obstetric TENS machine was by far the best I had ever used… it didn’t malfunction once.  I used it during spurious labour for 2 days and was still on the same battery by the time I gave birth.  It was easy to use, the arm strap was great and the hire cost very very reasonable.  I will certainly be recommending your service in the future.

I had a fantastic drug free natural birth and I found the Labour TENS to be a great help in achieving this goal. 

I spent the first 3 hours of my labour just using the Labour TENS and a stress ball to count through each contraction.

I arrived at hospital at 7pm with contractions 2 minutes apart and was 9cm dilated.  My Doctor broke my waters and as the pain increased I used stamping and vocalisation along with the TENS to control the pain.  After half an hour I was pushing and my baby girl was delivered 20 minutes later, a healthy 4kg! 

I think the Labour TENS helped me conserve energy in the early part of my labour so I had plenty of energy to stay active during the most difficult part.

I was planning to have a water birth and hire the Labour TENS machine just in case.

i started using the TENS at home and it worked so well that by the time we arrived at the hospital I was already 7cm dilated (what a surprise!).

3 hours later my midwife said I could start pushing and I had not even got into the bath!  I was afraid that the bath wouldn’t work as well as the TENS and therefore decided to abandon the idea of a water birth.

20 minutes later, we were holding our baby boy.

My labour was quite quick and much easier than I anticipated.  I did not use any drugs and I am very satisfied with the whole experience.

I cannot recommend Labour TENS strongly enough!

My back pain during contractions was managed with the Labour TENS machine .  I didn’t want an epidural and with the help of the TENS I didn’t need one.  I arrived at the hospital 7-8cm dilated.  If I hadn’t used the TENS I think I would have gone to hospital a lot earlier and probably would have given in to an epidural.

I will use Labour TENS again for sure and have suggested to my pregnant friends that they use it too.
